Since 1950
TRAFTON, MATZEN, BELLEAU & FRENETTE, LLP is a general-service Maine law firm based in Auburn. With a focus on individualized client attention and responsiveness, the partners of Trafton, Matzen, Belleau & Frenette represent and advise clients by drawing on extensive and versatile areas of legal practice including:

When it was originally established in 1950 by Willis A. Trafton, Jr., and L. Experience You Can Trust
Partners and associates within the firm have always remained active in the community including partners named as trustees for the Auburn Public Library.
Other partners have made their contribution by way of elected offices including: a candidate for governor, a speaker of the Maine House, a state senator, two past mayors for the city of Auburn and four Auburn city councilors. The firm has also seen the appointment of three past partners to the bench.
Presently, that contribution extends into the ice rinks and ball fields of Lewiston and Auburn where our two newest partners participate in local youth athletics — from nurturing baseball, softball and hockey’s youngest participants all the way up to coaching the esteemed Varsity Squad of the Lewiston High School Blue Devils.
Whether in the business offices, boardrooms or out on the ice, Trafton, Matzen, Belleau & Frenette, LLP is now and will long continue to be a vital and contributing member of the Lewiston and Auburn community.
